Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity
The Iota Nu chapter at UCSB started in 1990. We pride ourselves on our brotherhood and group of well directed young men. Our active role in the Greek system has established our fraternity as a beneficial factor to the University, Isla Vista, and surrounding communities. We host one of the largest philanthropy events of the Greek system, the All Sorority Volleyball Tournament. We are recognized as leaders in the Greek system that pride ourselves in knowing what the qualities of true fraternity men are.
ALL SORORITY VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT (ASVT)
It's that time of year again ASVT, taking place on APRIL 12th at the beautiful East Beach in Downtown Santa Barbara. ASVT is an ATO run sorority volleyball tournament which raises money for the KIDNEY CANCER ASSOCIATION, in the memory of a brother who succumbed to the terrible disease. This year ASVT will have over 20 sororities compete from around California and welcome over 4,000 students and Santa Barbara residents. ATO has teamed up with TWIIN productions to make this, the best yet. There will be a beer garden for those of age, a D.J. spinning all day, and a refreshment area to make the tournament an event no to be missed.
In addition, ATO has been honored with sponsorships from Subway, which will be selling sandwiches at half price, Five Four clothing, Alternative Copy Shop, Woodstock’s, Sand Bar, and many more.
TRANSPORTATION will be provided by six of Bill‘s Busses running non-stop from Greek Park (located at the corner of Embarcadero del Norte and Segovia Road) to East Beach and back.
THE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON APRIL 12th from 11:00-5:00pm
PRICING: In order to raise money for the charity; UCSB students will have to pay $4.00 prior to the event at the AS ticket office , or $5.00 at the day of at Greek Park or East Beach. Non UCSB students will be asked to pay $6.00 to attend ASVT.
